How 360 Strength & Performance came about…

Paul Amiradaki

Founder & Coach

At just two and a half years of age, my life took an unexpected turn. Diagnosed with a kidney tumor, I became no stranger to hospitals, doctors, and battles that most people never have to face. While chemotherapy saved my life, it came at a cost - losing a kidney, my hearing, and knowing that my heart would eventually fail.

Yet, I never saw myself as fragile. I was a competitor at heart. Whether it was racing my brother in the backyard pool or competing at school swimming meets, I thrived on movement, challenge, and pushing limits. That drive never faded - even when life tested me in ways I never could have imagined.

At 13, my health took another turn. I could barely climb a flight of stairs, and despite Australia’s summer heat, I was always cold and blue. By 15, I was on my deathbed. The only chance of survival? A heart transplant. Then, in the middle of the night, my parents' pager went off - a heart was available. A frantic race to Melbourne followed, and just like that, my second chance at life began.

Waking up after surgery, I felt something I hadn’t in years - strength, energy, and a renewed sense of purpose. It was in that moment that my passion for health, fitness, and performance truly ignited. I knew I wanted to help others push past their limits, not just physically, but in life.

From there, I refused to let anything hold me back. I finished school, traveled to 23 countries, and earned my Bachelor’s in Sport & Exercise Science. I trained hard, competed in Olympic weightlifting, and embraced every challenge thrown my way. In 2014, I took that passion and built 360 Strength & Performance - a gym designed to empower athletes and individuals to persevere, push past their limits, and achieve their greatest potential.

Our gym isn’t just a place to train, it’s a community of resilience. My story isn’t about overcoming obstacles; it’s about refusing to let them define me. I don’t use my past as an excuse - I use it as fuel to prove that no matter how hard the fall, you can rise again.

Even after facing a heart attack in 2019, a blockage in 2020 and again in 2023 for a total of 3 stents, I’m still standing, still moving, and still leading others to become the strongest versions of themselves. My journey has taught me that perseverance is everything.

Today, my passion lies in golf and ocean swimming, with the goal of one day swimming from Mona Vale to Shelly Beach.

360 Strength & Performance isn’t just about me - it’s about the incredible team that makes this place what it is.

I’m proud to work alongside a group of coaches who bring the same passion, expertise, and drive to help our members succeed. Each of them is committed to creating an environment where people can push their limits, grow, and achieve more than they thought possible.

Get to know the team below and see why 360SP is more than just a gym - it’s a place where you’re supported, challenged, and part of a community that’s built for success.
