PAUL - FOUNDER & TRAINER

Growing up I had a very different life to most kids, spending a lot of time in hospital fighting through multiple medical conditions and major surgeries. When I was 2.5 years old I had already; battled cancer, lost my hearing and speech as a side effect of chemo, and then suffered near heart failure at the age of 12, pneumonia at age 14 which had me in a hospital bed for 3 months, and finally a heart transplant in 2001 at the age of 15.

My aspiration was to be a professional athlete but with so many health setbacks I instead set myself on a mission to help others achieve their dream of becoming an athlete.

On the positive side my medical battles has developed me into the man I am today. I have the perseverance and the mental resilience to overcome just about any obstacle; and made the decision to use this along with my passion for sport and fitness to help people coming from a similar walk of life to reach optimal performance.

My goal is to show people that even when you think you've hit rock bottom, you can still come out on top. I've been there, I've done it and I know you can too!

After completing my Bachelor of Applied Science (Sport + Exercise Science) in 2012, I launched 360 Strength + Performance on Sydney’s Northern Beaches in 2013 followed by the opening of my very own facility in Warriewood in 2016. I continue to educate myself by working alongside allied health professionals, mentors and many other sport performance coaches within the industry. I want to better myself as a coach so I can better you as a client.

Outside of the business, I like to escape into the outback of NSW and/ or Australia in my 4WD and explore what this amazing country has to offer. Otherwise, you’ll find me active in the outdoors either rock climbing, surfing, wakeboarding or snowboarding. I definitely enjoy a good bbq and a whisky or beer with mates.

P.s. I never gave up my aspiration to be an athlete and later competed locally in olympic lifting. I am now training to compete at the Sydney Cup Powerlifting Comp in November 2018.

MEET AND TRAIN WITH PAUL

I started training with Paul to get some specialised strength training for triathlons. Paul had me on a monthly individually customised training plan to work on specific areas of strength and flexibility. With the help of Paul I managed to qualify for the Ironman 70.3 world championships in South Africa.
Paul is a great coach with a fine eye for technique and human movement, I would highly recommend him as a trainer for anyone looking to get the upper hand in whatever sport they are competing in.

Jack Wilson

Training with Paul has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. With his guidance through correct lifting technique and programming I’ve been able to overcome my chronic lower back pain as a result of scoliosis. What was more exciting was entering into my first powerlifting comp and lifting a total of 240kg between the 3 lifts! I would highly recommend Paul for anyone who wants to take their performance to the next level.

Dan Pearson

I used to attempt the conventional lifts, particularly the squat, on my own and would always leave the gym with a sore lower back feeling defeated. After signing up at 360 in 2016 Paul helped me correct my form and my lifts have been going from strength to strength ever since!

Paul helped me continue to get some work in after I broke my leg at the World Gridiron Championship. He kept me sane during a tough time and assisted with my rehab when I was back on my feet again.

Paul’s service is nothing short of awesome and I cannot recommend him highly enough.

Paul’s knowledge and expertise in Sport Performance and lifting isn’t just textbook, it’s from years of experience through both being a coach and the person being coached.

Through training with Paul I have not only improved my performance in soccer and built my confidence in the gym, but I’ve had an incredible first soccer season back after shoulder surgery, also being awarded the MVP of the year.
